THINGS TO DO
Named as the 6th best beach in the world for kids by Travellers Choice 2019. This 5 mile stretch of golden sands has rock pools and plenty to explore.
This rocky peninsula juts out into the North Sea and is the perfect place to search for crabs, fish, seabirds and even the occasional seal.
The town has many small cafes, restaurants, pubs and new boutique bars such as Banks and The Boat Shed.
There are many activities in the local and surrounding areas such as the 18 and 9 hole golf courses, horse riding and even skydiving.
Music & Events
Within the local area there are a number of different venues for music and theatre events including the Scarborough Open Air Theatre (biggest in Europe!) and Bridlington Spa.
The Great Outdoors
If getting out and about is more your type of thing, Filey is perfectly situated as a base to explore the North Yorkshire Moors, Dalby Forest or perhaps a long trek to Flamborough Head.
"We had a lovely stay in Filey . The house has everything you could need. A perfect layout for a mixed age group (1-68). With 2 huge lounges which easily could have fitted the whole party it was a touch of luxury to be able to keep one area 'quiet'. Nothing was too much trouble for John the owner. Endless hot water and extremely comfy beds. Superb"
